Yesterday at about 7:30 AM, I dropped by the Starbucks at 1912 Pike Place. I was buying some whole bean coffee for a future article about home brewing coffee. The store was still fairly slow for 1912 Pike Place. As I awaited my beverage, in walked Steeler and his owner, Chris. Steeler is beautiful! Tara (the same barista who is featured in my 1912 Pike Place history lesson article) called out and greeted Chris and Steeler! I realized they’re total regulars. It was a “Cheers” moment! Tara made Steeler a Puppaccino and I watched what happened. What amazes me is how well Steeler know the word puppaccino! Steeler totally recognized the word and walked right towards her when she called out his Puppaccino!! Just goes to show you how well customers get to know their drink orders! 😉
It was a lot of fun meeting Chris and Steeler! You too can have your cat or dog featured on PetsOfStarbucks.com! Just use the submit a pic button!
Also that morning (Saturday, October 17th), as I walked home from the Market, I dropped by the First and Pike Starbucks, a beautiful, large store at the entrance of the Market. First and Pike Starbucks opened new March 13, 2009.
I noticed the beautiful signage in the store!
Jeremiah is wearing a Rachel the Pig Starbucks pin. I know this is one pin that sometimes confuses people. Earlier this year, I talked about how partners earn the Rachel the Pig pin in this article (about mid-way through the article in the discussion of Pike Place Special Reserve).
Quite the successful Saturday morning! It was delight meeting Steeler and Chris, and I thoroughly enjoyed talking to Jeremiah about his signage! The First and Pike Starbucks is lucky to have him!
