This week, I bring you two fabulous Frappuccinos. These should be listed in the "best of" the secret menu, if there were such a thing! Know how to order your drink. The Lemon Bar Frappuccino (Officially begins June 8th as a "Seasonal Blended" Frappuccino):
This drink will be briefly available as a promotional drink starting June 8th. If you try to order it before then, you run the risk of your barista not knowing the recipe. (There will be a button on the register for it beginning on June 8th.)
The Lemon Bar Frappuccino is built similar vanilla crème Frappuccino: It has lemonade to the first line, milk to the second line of the cup, and two pumps of vanilla syrup (the two pumps of vanilla is for the grande size). It's topped with whipped cream and a caramel sugar topping (the same topping used on the caramel ribbon crunch Frappuccino.)
Here's how you will order the Lemon Bar Frappuccino, before June 8th:
"It's a customized vanilla creme based Frappuccino. Start with lemonade to the lower line of the cup. Add milk (the default is whole milk) to the second line of the cup. Use one full pump (espresso bar pumps) of vanilla syrup in the tall size. Use two pumps of vanilla syrup in the Grande and Venti sizes. Add the Frappuccino creme base syrup. Blend on button number one. Finish off with whipped cream and a couple of shakes of the caramel sugar topping."
Sorry that's a little difficult to order, but I trust your experienced barista will quickly be able to decipher that. If your store has run out of the caramel sugar topping, your Lemon Bar Frappuccino will be handed off with just whipped cream only and no alternative topping.
The cup marking should be "LBCF".
The first drink comes to you from Kari, in Orange, California, and it tastes like one of those strawberry push up pop type treats. Order a Tall Strawberries and Crème Frappuccino, but no dairy, substitute passion tea (just the tea without water added). Add one pump of raspberry syrup. This Frappuccino comes out light and fun, perfect for hot summer days It's also a no dairy drink, for those who have a milk sensitivity. If you want to order this in the Grande size, ask for a strawberries and crème Frappuccino, no milk substitute passion tea, with two pumps of raspberry syrup. The Grande size gets one more pump of syrup than the Tall size.
The Strawberries and Creme Frappuccino normally has classic syrup in it. This Frappuccino adds the raspberry syrup in addition to the classic, just in case you need to clarify that at the register.
Ordering it, you'd say, "I'd like a tall Strawberries and Creme Frappuccino, no milk, substitute passion tea, add one pump of raspberry syrup."
This drink separates a little on the fast side so don't hesitate to enjoy your drink!

Just to be clear, as I think this could be confusing:
The Strawberry Push Up Pop Frappuccino is not in any way, shape or form a Starbucks-created drink. You will always have to explain the recipe to your local barista.
The Lemon Bar Frappuccino is a Starbucks-created drink, and has its official start date as June 8th. There are a few other fun Frappuccinos coming, but I think I'm just going to leave you with this one.
